We have a free submission option now, thanks to Tip Jar contributions. They fill up fast, but we will update it whenever we have some slots available. 

​If you would like to make use of this new option, you can skip the payment process and send the stories to the email address mentioned in the instructions in green letters towards the end of this section.

There are FOUR free submission slots available now.

Free submissions are meant for writers who can't afford the entry fees or are below the age of 25. You can also avail them when there are some technical difficulties with the payment process. We do not ask for any proof from you, because we trust your own judgement of the situation. Please do mention 'free submission' in your subject line when you send your entries. All submissions in both the free and paid categories will be treated equally. 

If you are someone who would like to sponsor specific writers, please do make the entry fee payments on their behalf using the Tip Jar option and email us the names of those writers so that we can reserve slots for them. If you want to keep the slots open to anyone, we will add the numbers above in blue letters.

Each $12 in a Tip Jar can be combined with your own submission to allow one more deserving writer a free submission. It can also be used as a separate option to allow two other writers their free submissions. If you would like to help more writers and cheer us in our endeavor to widen our creative community, you can change the 'quantity' in Tip Jar to add more free submissions.

The Early Bird Deadline is February 15, 2025.

The Regular Deadline is February 28, 2025.

You can pay the fees from the PayPal page. Even if you don't have a PayPal address, the page will guide you to pay using a credit card. 

Note: Writers submitting from India might not be able to use PayPal for this, but they can pay via UPI or direct e-transfer to our account. Contact us at the email below for our phone or a/c number once you have your story ready. 

After sending the entry fees, you can submit your stories in a single Word file attachment to [email protected].
