This call for submission is closed now. All the selected writers will receive a response before September 10, 2020.
We turn to poetry, stories and arts in these times of trial. We hope to bring to you words, symbols, signs, images, and hues that are worthy of all your alone time.
If you have some work in these categories to pass on to others, please do get in touch with us.
We don't strictly adhere to a theme, but works that deal with ISOLATION, SURVIVAL, REVIVAL, MAKING CONNECTIONS, and MAKING THINGS HAPPEN are welcome in the current submission period. Here is some inspiration for you, if you would care for the entire poem and what it really implies:
For poetry makes nothing happen: it survives
In the valley of its making where executives
Would never want to tamper, flows on south
From ranches of isolation and the busy griefs,
Raw towns that we believe and die in; it survives,
A way of happening, a mouth.
~ from 'In Memory of W.B Yeats' by W.H Auden
